STABILITY REPORT SUMMARY - MV MARELLA
Summary of findings: In all conditions considered, the investigations show the vessel has stability characteristics far in excess of those required by the Uniform Shipping Laws Code of Australia Criteria.
The initial stability, as typified by the initial matacentric height (GfMo), is in each case, more than 24 times the minimum required value of the U.S.L. Code criterion.
The occurrence of the maximum Righting Arm GfZ never occurs below 18.5 degrees, as opposed to the criterion minimum of 15 degrees.
The maximum GfZ at 30 degrees or more is in each case, more than 2.9 times the minimum required value.
The area under the Right Arm Curve between 30 degrees - 40 degrees is in each case, more than 2.5 times the minimum required value.
Finally, the area under the Right Arm Curve up to the maximum GfZ is in each case, not less than 2.5 times the minimum required value.
